B Learning Event: How to Measure Emissions & Create a Climate Action Plan

Climate change is a reality affecting the environment, the economy, and our livelihoods, and is an increasingly important business topic. Companies are often required or highly encouraged to address these business risks by measuring and managing carbon emissions. It can be difficult to know where to start or how to keep progressing. In this session, we will go through a day in the life of a company’s climate strategy, starting with planning and ending with implementation. Along the way, we'll discuss taking climate action that is rooted in justice. Audience members will leave with a plan for starting or enhancing their climate strategy, while ensuring alignment with global standards - including the evolving B Corp standards.

This B Learning event will be hybrid, so you can join us in-person or virtually! If you can make it to Metropolitan Group for the in-person event, we'll have drinks and snacks afterward for folks to connect and process what they've learned.

Climate action plans are relevant to all businesses, not just B Corps, so we welcome anyone interested in measuring and improving their impact. A couple of weeks after the session, anyone who attended is welcome to join a virtual integration session to ask questions or discuss items that may have bubbled up in the interim. The facilitators would be happy to help, no matter where you are in your journey!

If you plan to join us virtually, please choose the virtual ticket option, and we will send you a send you a Zoom link the week of the event.
